I just took Joe out for a long drive, and he was telling me about his wife (who is rehabilitating from a broken pelvis at a nursing home).

He said, “we’ve been married around 8 or 10 years I think…”

Me: “I thought i heard that you’ve been married for more than 50 years…?”

Joe: “Oh god no! That’s too long! You know, you can only live with someone so long before they totally drive you crazy!”
